Star Idaho has been one of the fastest growing communities for our valley. Some feel that Star is an affordable extension of Eagle Idaho.
One thing is for sure, the market for homes in Star have ground to a halt. Economic conditions and fuel prices are having serious consequences for developers, builders and owners alike. There are currently 260 actively marketed homes in Star. Sixty percent of these homes are vacant and 35% are newer than 1 year. The average price for all available home is $361,000. However the median is much lower at $285K. With only 45 closed transaction for the last 90 days, there's an existing inventory of 1.44 years. |
