| | Our Rating: Our Comments: First impression: Walking up to the house, my buyers felt it seems like a nice home that's been taken care of and an older couple lived there a long time. Before it was listed, I saw they had an estate stale. ROOF -we did notice the roof has some moss growing out from under the shingles...hmmm. There's a ramp out front leading to the front door. Once inside the smell of older definitely comes across. The carpet is every shade of gold/green you can think of. The kitchen is small and not open to the rest of the home. I guess this could be changed, but it's going to cost some serious remodel money. Plenty of wall paper that has texture to it. Window coverings that match this motif. The upper deck at the back of the house is a nice feature, but it's clear that this house is exposed to all who wish to see. This is because the lot is like an island surrounded by streets. It's hard to hide from a neighbors view. The basement has a wetbar and a shop area with tons of built-ins. This basement opens to the back yard and has a sun porch with green turf carpet. You get the picture. There is a boat or trailer parking area though. On the way out the front door, I noticed that there was no door to the garage from the inside of the house. This house needs an bunch of updating but is livable the way it is. Low maintenance brick siding and aluminum/metal. At $300K, my clients felt it's hardly a buy now price. I guess we'll keep looking.
